KL Rahul’s electrifying partnership with the brilliant Virat Kohli, who was in sublime form against his cherished rivals, Pakistan, proved to be the backbone of India’s innings. Their formidable union didn’t let the momentum shift back into Pakistan’s favor, despite the impressive opening partnership where both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill notched up remarkable fifties.

Kohli’s innings was nothing short of a masterpiece, as he showcased his prowess by elegantly dispatching the ball to various corners of the ground. India ended their innings with 356 for 2 in 50 overs, while batting first against the arch-rivals Pakistan. Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs, while Shubman Gill was out after making 58 runs. Later on, Virat and KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 122 and 111 runs on the reserve day of the IND vs PAK Asia Cup match.
