With less than 24 hours remaining for the start of India vs Australia 1st Test, Border Gavaskar Trophy, every cricket fan is curious about India’s Playing X1. The biggest question is who will play the first test match? Is it the star Shubman Gill or Suryakumar Yadav? Well, KL Rahul has made it pretty clear who will play in the upcoming test that starts from 9th February
KL Rahul, Vice Captain of Indian Cricket Team on pre-match conference was pretty happy with the Indian Team preparations before the 1st test match. When asked about whether he would bat in the middle order in 1st test, he said “If it arises, then I’m more than happy to do that.Whatever little cricket I’ve played for the country, I’ve always done that”.
“Whatever the team has asked me to do, I try and prepare that way and try and do my best for the team, and if that is something that the team wants me to do here, I’ll be more than happy to do it,” Rahul said, although it is unlikely that he would come down the order.” KL Rahul on pre-match conference.
This clearly indicates that Shubman Gill will play in the 1st test match against Australia with KL Rahul playing at number 5.
