India Women Squad for England Tour Announced: Checkout the List of Players

India Women Squad for the tour of England in which both ODI and T20I series will be played have finally been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. There will be a three-match T20I series which will begin on 10th September, while the three-match ODI series will kick off on September 18th.

One of the most veteran Indian bowlers, Jhulan Goswami, has earned a call-back in the Indian ODI squad for the tour to England. Kiran Navgire, a young Indian batter who recently scored an unbeaten 162 for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022 in the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy, has finally earned a maiden call-up for T20IS.

The wicket-keeper batter Richa Ghosh is making a comeback to the T20I side, while Simran Bahadur is registering a comeback in the ODI set-up. Harmanpreet Kaur will be leading the Indian side in both formats. Dayalan Hemlatha is another interesting name that’s included in the Indian ODI squad. She is making a comeback after quite a long time due to her stellar performances in domestic cricket.

Renuka Singh Thakur, the leading wicket-taker and the latest sensation in the cricketing world, is included in both ODI and T20I Indian squad. The rest of the names are familiar and regularly featured players in the squad. However, Jemimah Rodrigues, who is also a part of the squad, may miss out due to an injury she suffered during The Hundred in England.
