GT vs RR, the Tata IPL 2022 final is scheduled to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 7:30 PM IST on 29th May 2022.

    Head to Head Battles:

Gujarat Titans have faced Rajasthan Royals on two occasions in IPL. In both matches, the Gujarat Titans have been victorious. Their previous game was qualifier 1, in which David Miller played an excellent knock to help GT defeat RR in the final over of the match.

    Journey to the final:

Gujarat Titans were the first team to qualify for both the playoffs and, ultimately, the final. GT registered 10 wins in the group stage of the tournament. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals recorded 9 wins in the group stage and became the second team to qualify for the playoffs. GT defeated RR in the qualifier 1 and faced off against RCB in qualifier 2 to ultimately reach the final.

    Predicted Playing XIs:

GT: Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Yash Dayal, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami

RR: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal, Obed McCoy

    Best Fantasy XI:

Jos Buttler ©, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya (vc), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Shimron Hetmyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Shami, Obed McCoy

    Battles to Watch Out for:

Jos Buttler vs Mohammed Shami: Jos Buttler is the leading run-scorer of Tata IPL 2022, and he scored a brilliant 89 against GT in the qualifier 1. However, this time around, Gujarat Titans will want their ace bowler, Mohammed Shami, to rise to the occasion and dismiss Buttler in the IPL final.

Shubman Gill vs Trent Boult: Shubman Gill is one of those players who can play till the end of the inning without breaking a sweat. Boult will shoulder the responsibility of removing the GT opener cheaply in the IPL 2022 final.

    Predicted Winner:

Gujarat Titans are the favourites to win the game and lift the trophy.
