GT vs LSG Highlights:

Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bat first on the sluggish pitch, which was expected to get challenging to bat on as the time passed in the game. It was a brilliant decision by Hardik Pandya to bat first.

GT Inning:

Shubman Gill showcased why he is called a prodigy even by the game’s legends. When other batters found it hard to time the ball on the slow pitch, he played a brilliant knock. Gill stayed till the end of the Titans’ inning to ensure that Gujarat reached a competitive total.

Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 63* off 49. Wriddhiman Saha, Mathew Wade and Hardik Pandya did not contribute much to the GT’s total. David Miller played a handy knock of 26, and Rahul Tewatia struck a few fours in the final overs to help GT reach 144/4 in 20 overs.

LSG Inning:

Lucknow Super Giants had a worrying start as both KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock were dismissed early in the chase. LSG was reduced to 37/3 after the powerplay. GT kept picking wickets at the regular intervals to derail Lucknow’s chase.

Deepak Hooda was the only batter who showed the guts to fight against the GT bowling unit. He scored 27, but no support from the other end piled too much pressure on him, which ultimately resulted in his fall. LSG was bowled out for 82 runs by GT. Rashid Khan picked up three wickets.
