Lucknow Super Giants have displaced Gujarat Titans as the table toppers with a couple of consecutive wins in the previous game. Super Giants were helped by a lacklustre Gujarat Titans in the last two games. Gujarat has conceded two consecutive losses and needs to bounce back to regain the top spot in the points table.
Gujarat Titans were not overwhelmed by their losses. They lost the games in the final few overs. This should give them confidence that they are playing good cricket, and it just was not their day on the previous two occasions. Nevertheless, the Titans need Hardik Pandya to attain the form he started within the tournament.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants are propelled in the points table by their exceptional bowling. Mohsin Khan has been a good and effective inclusion in their playing XI. KL Rahul is in good touch as usual, but they need to polish their middle-order batting to maintain their supremacy in the tournament.
