LSG Inning:

Lucknow had a robust start with both KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock playing attacking shots. De Kock scored 23 off 13 before Shardul Thakur dismissed him. However, Rahul then combined forces with Deepak Hooda to construct a long and frustrating partnership for Delhi bowlers.

Together they added 95 runs for the 2nd wicket, and Lucknow was 137/2 in 14.3 overs when Deepak Hooda departed on 52 off 34. LSG was looking set for a big total, but the batters after Hooda did not show the same application.

Mitchell Marsh and Rishabh Pant played attacking cricket to bring Delhi Capitals back into the hunt. Marsh scored 37 off 20, while Pant added 47 off 30. When Rishabh Pant departed, Delhi was 120/5 in 13 overs.

Mohsin Khan took the important wicket of Pant and later on dismissed Rovman Powell and Shardul Thakur to extinguish DC’s hopes. Axar Patel played like a lone warrior in the death overs. He scored 42* off 24.
