RCB vs MI Highlights:

MI Innings:

Mumbai Indians had a blazing start, with both Rohit Sharma and Ishan Khan getting a few quick boundaries during the powerplay. However, the end of field restrictions completely changed the fortunes of both teams involved.

Harshal Patel removed Rohit on the 2nd ball after the powerplay to provide a breakthrough for Royal Challengers. MI captain’s fall brought a horrible collapse with it.

Dewald Brevis, Ishan Kishan, Tilak Varma, Keiron Pollard and debutant Ramandeep Singh were dismissed under 19 runs, and Royal Challengers tightened their clasp in the RCB vs MI clash.

Everything depended on Suryakumar Yadav to pull his team back into a fighting position from a dismal 79/6 in 13.2 overs.

Yadav played an enterprising inning with counterattacking shots to propel his team to 151. He partnered with tailenders in perfect harmony to score an impressive 68* off 37, including 6 six massive sixes.

RCB Innings:

Royal Challengers struggled during the field restrictions in the RCB vs MI clash. Faf du Plessis found it hard to time the ball, and the run rate remained under 6 during the powerplay.

Nevertheless, young Anuj Rawat displayed some beautiful and counterattacking strokeplay against the spinners to up the ante from the 7th over. Faf also tried to emulate his partner but found the fielder on long-on to get dismissed on 16 off 24.

RCB needed 102 off 71 balls to win when the chase master, Virat Kohli, stepped foot ok the crease. Kohli looked positive from the get-go and formed a match-winning partnership with Anuj Rawat.

Rawat scored a brilliant 66 off 47 before Ramandeep Singh found him short on the crease. However, Anuj and Kohli’s 80 run stand had ensured that Bangalore attained the victory in the RCB vs MI battle.

Dewald Brevis removed Kohli on 48 on the first ball of his IPL career in the 19th over. The leg before decision was a controversial one as the ball had hit the bat and pad simultaneously. Nevertheless, Maxwell walked out and finished the match with two consecutive boundaries.
