Ayush Badoni was one of the biggest finds of IPL 2023. The young cricketer surprised everyone with its hitting abilities in his debut match and went to contribute crucial runs in a few victories for Lucknow Super Giants. Badoni is a rising star who deserves play in the top four. Last year, he mostly batted at number five or six for Lucknow Super Giants, but this time around, he can get a longer run at number four.

Lucknow Super Giants has released Manish Pandey, who used to bat number four for the team. He was not a right fit for LSG, and the franchise decided to release him ahead of the mini-auction. This has cleared the path for the young batter Ayush Badoni to take up that number four slot and get a few big innings for his team.

However, Lucknow Super Giants also have Deepak Hooda and Nicholas Pooran, who would love to bat in the top order. The team management can decide to give the number three batting spot to Nicholas Pooran and keep Deepak Hooda at five behind Ayush Badoni.

Nevertheless, the final batting order of Lucknow Super Giants will be revealed in their first match of the tournament. IPL 2023 is set to start on 31st March 2023 with a match between GT and CSK at Narendra Modi Stadium.
