Shreyas Iyer, who was supposed to captain Kolkata Knight Riders, is suffering from a back injury and is likely to miss the entire tournament. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant was severely injured in a car accident and will miss the entire edition of IPL. Delhi Capitals has announced David Warner as the captain of Delhi Capitals for this year’s edition of IPL.

Aiden Markram was announced as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad a few days back. He recently won the SA20 League as captain. However, Aiden Markarm can miss a few matches for SRH in the beginning and in his absence, Bhuvneshwar Kumar can lead the side. Nitish Rana is the interim captain of Kolkata Knight Riders until Shreyas Iyer makes a return.
