IPL 2023 GT vs DC: Dasun Shanaka May Debut in Today Match

Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals will face each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today in the Indian Premier League. GT are the table toppers, while the DC are at the bottom of the pile. If Gujarat wins this game, they will need only one more win to qualify for the playoffs.

Even though the Gujarat Titans are on a winning spree, they can make a few changes in their playing 11 to suit the conditions at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Dasun Shanaka, the Sri Lankan skipper, was brought into the GT squad as a replacement for Kane Williamson.

He is yet to make his debut in the tournament despite performing exceptionally well against India in the T20 series, which happened a while ago. Narendra Modi Stadium is a high-scoring ground, and GT can look to strengthen its batting lineup.

There are high chances of Noor Ahmed being dropped from the Gujarat Titans team to make way for the power hitter Dasun Shanaka. Even though the Afghani spinner has been highly impressive, there is no way he will play ahead of Rashid Khan in the playing 11.
