IPL 2023: Irfan Pathan Pinpoints Key Issue with Gujarat Titans Batting Line-up, Highlighting Hardik Pandya’s Underwhelming Form

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan has identified the batting conundrum that the Gujarat Titans are facing in the ongoing TATA IPL 2023.

With the playoffs race getting intense in TATA IPL 2023, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has pointed out a major issue with the Gujarat Titans’ batting line-up. The defending champions have failed to find a consistent batter at number three, with Hardik Pandya struggling to live up to expectations with the bat.

Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Pathan expressed concern about the Gujarat Titans’ conundrum, stating that if Pandya doesn’t perform at number three, it would be difficult for the team management to find a suitable replacement.

The Gujarat Titans are set to play their last home game of the league stage against Sunrisers Hyderabad, and a win will guarantee them a spot in the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The Titans’ captain, Hardik Pandya, appeared dissatisfied with his and his team’s performance in the previous game and will be looking to make a comeback.

Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif has also expressed confidence in the Gujarat Titans’ ability to come out on top against Sunrisers Hyderabad and secure their place in the playoffs. He stated that their performance away from home has been good, and they will be looking to improve their record at home this season.
