Leading the Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of IPL 2023, MS Dhoni has added another record to his IPL career by becoming the first CSK batter to slam 200 IPL sixes. Dhoni achieved this feat in the final over against Irish pacer Josh Little.
MS Dhoni has now entered the elite list of the most six hitters for a single franchise in the history of the league, joining the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, and Virat Kohli.

Dhoni, who came in at No 8 in the match, remained unbeaten on 14 off 7 deliveries as CSK posted a strong score of 178/7 in 20 overs.Batting second, GT took the match to the last over and won the thriller by 5 wickets. The highest run scorer of the match was Ruturaj Gaikwad who played a brilliant knock of 92 runs off 50 balls.
CSK will be playing their next match against LSG on April 3 at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.
