IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians in Big Trouble; Two More Players Become Unavailable

South African players may miss the beginning stage of IPL 2023

Mumbai Indians is fighting with injuries and tour commitments of their players. Their premium bowling attack which consisted Jasprit Bumrah, Jofra Archer and Jhye Richardson has been left with only Archer.

Both Bumrah and Richardson are injured and they are going to miss the entire season of the 16th edition of Indian Premier League. Even Jofra Archer is doubtful for the later stages of the tournament as he is expected to leave in order to prepare for the Ashes.

Now, a latest news has surfaced in which it is announced that South Africa is going to play an ODI series against Netherlands which is going to conclude on 2nd April 2023. This means that the South African players will arrive in India on 3rd or 4th April to take part in IPL.

This edition of the tournament is going to start on 31st March 2023 which means that the South African players will miss a few matches. Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis are the two South Africans who play for Mumbai Indians and can miss the first few matches.
