Brook, who was bought by SRH for a whopping 13.25 crores in the IPL 2023 auction, had scored just 13, 3 and 13 in his previous three innings. However, he made a strong statement against KKR, showcasing his ability to be severe against pace and play watchfully against spinners.
After the match, the SRH players took to social media to praise their star batter, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar leading the way. “Top-class innings from Harry Brook. Having him among the runs is a big plus for us. He can take any team apart, and that is why the team management sent him to open the batting,” Kumar said.
