Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in the Indian Premier League. However, the 2022 season was nothing short of a nightmare for Mumbai. In the entire season, Rohit Sharma’s team could win only 4 matches and finished last on the table. Bad bowling and poor batting drowned Mumbai’s looters. Now in the new season, the team will hit the ground with renewed enthusiasm. Mumbai will start their campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 2nd April.

X-Factor for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023

There are many young faces in the Mumbai Indians who can surprise. The biggest name on this list is that of Shams Mulani. Mulani is a big name in domestic cricket but is yet to get a chance in the IPL. He can become a match-winning all-rounder for the team. Apart from him, Arshad Khan can also prove to be the X-Factor for the team. Arshad Khan is such a player in the Mumbai team, whose name is known to a few people, but he can be a game changer. He can do wonders with both the ball and the bat. 

Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson will not be able to play in the IPL 2023. In absence of Bumrah, the team does not have any experienced fast bowler. The franchise has not even announced his replacement. In the spin department too, apart from Chawla, there is no other name that instils fear.
