The shocking reason behind the Hardik Pandya transfer could be the huge amount of money that the player has received. Also, Hardik started his journey in IPL with the Mumbai Indians and it seems that he wanted to end his career with the same team in the IPL.

Hardik Pandya also placed the condition of him being named the captain of Mumbai Indians to return to the team. Mumbai Indians owners accepted his request and he was recently named the captain replacing Rohit Sharma.
