While social media enthusiasts are also pairing the post with the removal of Rohit Sharma as captain of Mumbai Indians.

A recent Instagram post by Kieron Pollard discussing loyalty left Mumbai Indians (MI) fans speculating about its target. Many connected it to MI’s decision to trade in Hardik Pandya, a player nurtured by the team, only to later announce his captaincy over the legendary Rohit Sharma for IPL 2024.

Despite MI’s explanation of Pandya’s progression, fans, who were dismayed by the unexpected change, linked Pollard’s post to this captaincy switch.
