Mitchell Marsh to Open the Batting for Australia in World Cup 2023

Marsh can replace David Warner at the top

Australia is considered a strong contender for the 2023 ICC World Cup, given their impressive performances and team composition. The team has hinted at the possibility of Mitchell Marsh being a serious candidate to open the innings.

Marsh’s excellent form in various formats, including his standout performance in the ODI series against Australia and the T20I series against South Africa, where he scored two fifties and showed remarkable consistency, has caught the team management’s attention.

Michael di Venuto, the batting coach of the Australian cricket team, has suggested that there are several options for opening the batting in the upcoming World Cup.
