1- Most Boundaries Scored in a T20 Match
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored a combined 81 boundaries including 43 fours and 38 sixes in their clash at Chinnaswamy to mark the highest number of boundaries ever scored in a T20 match. 38 is also the most number of sixes scored in an IPL match. The record of 38 sixes was also achieved in SRH vs MI match.
2- Highest Aggregate in a T20 Match
SRH and RCB scored 549 runs in total during their clash at the Chinnaswamy. This is the highest number of runs ever scored in a T20 match. SRH batted first and scored 287 runs, while RCB put on 262 runs while chasing.
3- Most 250+ Scores by a Team in IPL
SRH became the first team to score 250+ in three matches in IPL. They scored 277 against Mumbai Indians, 287 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and 266 against Delhi Capitals. SRH’s 287 against RCB is also the highest ever total in IPL. It is also the second highest total in T20 history. The highest total belongs to Nepal, which crossed 300 run mark against Mongolia in a T20 match.
4- Highest Powerplay Score in T20 Cricket
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma absolutely thrashed the Delhi Capitals bowlers and registered 125 runs in just 6 overs of the powerplay to achieve the highest ever powerplay score in the T20 history. SRH also became the only team in IPL history to cross 100 runs mark in just first 5 overs of the match.
5- Highest Run-Rate for a Partnership
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma shattered a lot of records in their partnership against Delhi Capitals. They registered the highest run-rate for a partnership of 100 or above in IPL history by scoring at 20.68 runs per over. The duo put up 131 runs in just 38 balls.
6- Most Sixes Hit by a Team in an Innings
SRH has hit the most sixes in an innings in IPL history. They blasted 22 sixes against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Chinnaswamy and then equalled the record at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Delhi Capitals.
7- Most Runs Successfully Chased in the Last 6 Overs
Rajasthan Royals chased 96 runs in the last 6 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders on the back of an impressive hundred from Jos Buttler. This is the highest number of runs chased successfully in IPL history.
8- Highest Run Chase Ever in the History of IPL
Rajasthan Royals successfully chased 224 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders to equal its own record chase in IPL history. This is the joint highest successful chase in the history of IPL. The other one was the chase by RR against Punjab Kings at Sharjah in IPL 2020.
