    Rishabh Pant was injured in an accident on 30th December 2022 in which his car caught fire, and he somehow escaped with the help of a bus driver and conductor. The Indian wicketkeeper batter sustained many minor injuries on his body. Still, the most concerning was a right knee ligament injury that can keep him out for the entirety of this year. However, in his recent Tweet Rishabh Pant has written, ‘The road to recovery has begun, and his surgery is successful.’

    For the first time, his accident, an official statement has come from Rishabh Pant in the form of a Tweet. Indian cricket fans are hopeful for his return before the 2023 World Cup, but many media releases are claiming that he is out for the whole year. With his Tweet, Rishabh Pant has given hope to his fans for his quick return to the Indian team.

    “I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the @BCCI , @JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support.”
