Star batter Rohit Sharma was the hero of Mumbai Indians’ victory in the IPL 2025 Eliminator match. While the season hadn’t gone particularly well for the ‘Hitman’, and his previous playoff stats had worried fans, Rohit rose to the occasion when it mattered most. Opening for MI, he smashed a brilliant 81-run knock — his third IPL playoff half-century — and reminded everyone that he always delivers in big moments. For his match-winning innings, Rohit was awarded the Player of the Match.
