Heinrich Klaasen scored the fourth fastest century by a South African player in international cricket when he smashed 100 runs of just 54 balls in the recently concluded ODI against West Indies. He was absolutely brutal in his batting and ended with 119* unbeaten on just 61 balls with the help of five sixes and fifteen fours. Klaasen single-handedly took South Africa to the victory.
South Africa was chasing 261 runs to win the 3rd ODI of the series. The first match of the series was washed away while the second one was won by West Indies. Klaasen’s flamboyant knock helped South Africa level the series. Marco Jansen also played a handy knock of 43 off 33 to help the African team chase down the target in just 30 overs.

For West Indies, their opener Brandon King top scored with 72 off 72. Klaasen was named player of the match and player of the series. Shai Hope was also named player of the series. Both team ended with one win each and the series was drawn.
