Rajkumar Sharma, Virat Kohli’s former coach, stated that he is unsure of whether the former India captain has been rested or dropped for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
Speaking on India News, Raj Sharma highlighted that there was no official statement over Kohli’s exclusion from the T20 team.
“There is no clarity regarding his exclusion from the squad. There is no official statement over the same, and we don’t know if he has been dropped or rested,” he said.
Virat was not considered for the T20Is, but he will play three ODIs against Sri Lanka in upcoming series.
BCCI senior official told that Virat and Rohit Sharma will not be part of the current T20I squad but surely they will be in consideration against big opposition and crucial series.
