Virat Kohli just 42 runs away from going past Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid in this illustrious list

Virat Kohli just 42 runs away from becoming the fifth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag to reach this landmark.

While Virat Kohli has returned to form in ODIs and T20Is, he has been seen struggling in the longest format of the game.

Kohli has managed to score only 111 runs in five innings in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series. It has been over three years since Kohli last scored a century and about 15 Test innings since he last scored a fifty.

Despite the below-average returns in the last three years, Kohli is only 42 runs away from registering 4000 Test runs in India. He will become only the fifth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag to reach this landmark.
