MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings captain, is back again in the nets to prepare himself for IPL 2023. The 4-time IPL winner is seen practising near his home in Jharkhand. He will be seen in IPL 2023 as captain of CSK, which will probably be his last season.
In the nets, Dhoni is visible wearing Jharkhand’s practice gear. In the video, he plays a shot toward the leg side and is mainly defending balls. He is not trying to hit any big shots. He is accompanied in training by other batters who are unknown. Since Dhoni resigned from international cricket, it has been getting harder and harder to see him bat, except in Indian Premier League or club matches.

MS Dhoni is probably going to lead the Chennai Super Kings for the last time in the Indian Premier League. In 2022, Ravindra Jadeja was handed the captaincy of CSK, but he failed to perform under pressure, and Dhoni was again appointed the captain. This year MS Dhoni will look to build a successor in CSK after his departure. IPL 2023 might be the last hurrah of Thala in the tournament as the captain and wicketkeeper batter of Chennai Super Kings.
