Will Virender Sehwag Divorce After 20 Years of Marriage? Another Indian Cricketer’s Relationship in Trouble

Former Indian cricket team opener Virender Sehwag is making headlines due to his personal life. According to reports, Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, are set to part ways after 20 years of marriage. A report by Hindustan Times claims that the couple has been living separately for the past few months. Adding to the speculation, both Sehwag and Aarti have unfollowed each other on Instagram. The couple got married in 2004 in a grand ceremony, and now, their social media activity has fueled rumors about their separation.

Speculations about trouble in their marriage first surfaced last year during Diwali when Sehwag posted a picture of himself performing Diwali puja alone, accompanied only by his two sons and his mother. His wife, Aarti, was missing from the picture, which led to questions about their relationship. Since then, there have been no social media updates about them as a couple, further intensifying the divorce rumors.

Adding to the speculation, Sehwag visited the Vishwanagayakshi Temple two weeks ago, but his wife was not seen with him. Until an official statement is released by either Sehwag or Aarti, rumors about their relationship status will continue to spread in the media.

For those unaware, Sehwag and Aarti have two sons. Their elder son, Aryaveer Sehwag, was born in 2007, and their younger son, Vedant, was born in 2010. Both boys are following in their father’s footsteps and are making a mark in Delhi’s age-group cricket tournaments.

Virender Sehwag, one of India’s most explosive cricketers, announced his retirement from international cricket in 2015. Even after retiring, he has remained closely associated with the sport in various roles. However, he has always kept his personal life private. Until an official confirmation comes from either Sehwag or Aarti, these divorce rumors will remain unverified.
