World Test Championship (WTC) Final is scheduled to be played between Australia and India in London at The Oval cricket ground from 7th June 2023. Players from both teams have reached England and started practicing for the important final. India and Australia have announced their respective 15 member squads for WTC Final.

Australia has named both Josh Hazlewood and Scott Boland in their squad. Hazlewood was reported to be injured as he complained of soreness during the IPL 2023 and missed a few matches. He is coming out of a dreadful injury and is still not completely fit.

Cricket Australia announced that they are monitoring Hazlewood and it seems that he would be completely fit before the WTC Final. But there is also a possibility of him not regaining the match fitness. In that scenario Australia would go with Scott Boland in their team.

Boland and Hazlewood are similar kind of bowlers who are known for their accuracy. Boland is the ideal replacement for Hazlewood in WTC Final. The right pacer has played 6 Test matches and picked 28 wickets in them.
