    The highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 final saw not only Mumbai Indians’ women’s team take on Delhi Capitals but also two of the biggest names in cricket, Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, were in attendance to cheer for their team. Despite being sidelined with a back injury, Bumrah graced the stands with his presence, where he met up with his new MI teammate Archer.

    The MI franchise posted an adorable video on their official Instagram handle, which shows Bumrah and Archer sharing a heartwarming moment during the game. Fans couldn’t help but feel ecstatic to see two of the world’s most lethal pacers bonding over cricket.

    While Bumrah won’t be playing in the upcoming IPL season, Archer will be joining the Mumbai Indians on April 2. The fans are eagerly waiting to see the two bowlers in action, but they’ll have to wait a bit longer for that to happen.

    However, their presence at the WPL final was enough to excite the fans, who were treated to a sensational match that saw Mumbai Indians clinch the WPL trophy after defeating the Capitals by seven wickets. The win was made possible by an outstanding innings from Nat Sciver-Brunt, who scored an unbeaten 60 and helped Mumbai Indians chase down the target with ease.

    The interaction between Bumrah and Archer in the stands added an extra element of excitement to the game, and it showed the strong bond that exists between the MI players, regardless of whether they play in the men’s or women’s team.

    Jofra Archer, who previously played for Rajasthan Royals, will debut for Mumbai Indians on April 2, 2023, in the opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Fans are eagerly anticipating his debut in MI colors, and his partnership with Bumrah on the field is undoubtedly something to look forward to.
