The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, a 20-team event, is scheduled to take place in the USA and West Indies from June 1 to 29, 2024.

On Monday, April 29, New Zealand became the first team to announce their squad for the tournament and unveiled their new playing kit on the same day.

Pakistan announced their squad on May 24, completing the submissions for all 20 teams participating in the marquee event.

Australia has named Mitchell Marsh as the captain instead of the highly successful Pat Cummins. This probably shows the future planning by the Cricket Australia. Jake Fraser-McGurk, who lit fire with his performance in IPL 2024 was named as one of the reserves alongside Matthew Short.
