Patients are advised to refrain from strenuous activity or heavy lifting in the initial weeks post-surgery. “It’s crucial for patients to steer clear of activities that might impede their recovery or disturb the incisions,” emphasized the source. Once approximately six to eight weeks have passed, and the incisions are fully healed, individuals can gradually reintegrate their normal exercise routine. Additionally, patients should be mindful that they might experience some deconditioning during the recovery phase, hence adopting a gradual and cautious approach to resuming activity is recommended.
Suryakumar Yadav could be out for three months after the surgery. He could miss the first few matches of IPL 2024. This year the tournament is expected to begin at the end of March and Suryakumar Yadav could become available in April 2024 for Mumbai Indians.
