Trent Boult, the Kiwi pacer who has separated himself from the New Zealand team, has come up with a shocking statement. Currently, the New Zealand cricket team is on tour to Pakistan, but Trent Boult is not included in the Kiwi squad as he has said that he wants to play more league cricket than international cricket.

    Trent Boult

The New Zealand cricket board has removed Trent Boult from the list of players who are centrally contracted, and it is very unlikely that Trent Boult will be given an opportunity in the New Zealand squad for the World Cup 2023. However, this can’t overweight the fact that Boult is the best pacer that New Zealand has.

Trent Boult said, “I want to play the World Cup 2023.” The New Zealand cricket board can rely on Trent Boult in the 2023 World Cup, as he is still New Zealand’s best pacer. Tim Southee and Trent Boult are one of the most threatening pairs in the cricket world, and New Zealand will surely love to have them in the World Cup 2023 squad.

However, Trent Boult needs to talk it out with the New Zealand cricket board if he is really serious about representing the Blackcaps in World Cup 2023.
