ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to kick start on 19 February 2025, with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand. The tournament is going to be played in a hybrid format due to India’s refusal to travel to Pakistan. All of India’s matches are going to be held in Dubai International Stadium. ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Format

The tournament’s group stage will follow a straightforward round-robin format, where each team competes against every other team in its group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.

Teams will earn two points for a victory, one point for a tie or a match with no result, and no points for a loss. If multiple teams have the same number of points, the semifinalists will be decided based on net run rate.

All About the Venues for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Pakistan will host nine out of the 15 matches on home soil, while all of India’s games will take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the UAE, as the Indian government has declined to send its team to Pakistan.

If India qualifies for the semifinals, they will compete in the first knockout match, scheduled in Dubai. Should they reach the final, the venue will be shifted from Lahore to Dubai for the championship match.

The tournament will feature three venues in Pakistan: National Stadium in Karachi, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
