India vs West Indies 2nd T20I Timing Change, To Start at 10 PM

India vs West Indies 2nd T20I of the five-match series will be played two hours later than the originally scheduled time. The match which was going to happen at 8 PM will now start at 10 PM as per the recent announcement made by CWI.

The 2nd T20I between India and West Indies will be played at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts. According to the CWI, the luggage of the players arrived late from Trinidad to St Kitts, which made the board take the decision to postpone the match by 2 hours.

“Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed there will be a delay in the start of the second match in the Goldmedal T20I Cup, powered by Kent Water Purifiers T20I between West Indies and India to be played at Warner Park in St Kitts today, August 1st”,” the statement from CWI read.

CWI has also issued another statement in which they apologised for the inconvenience caused to fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders. Cricket West Indies claimed that the matter was out of their control, and they could have done nothing to solve the problem.

Stadium gates at the cricket ground for the 2nd T20I between India and West Indies will now open at 10 AM, according to the Jamaican clock. The fans who are visiting the venue can buy tickets directly at tickets.windiestickets.com.

As of now, India leads the series by 1-0 due to a clinical victory registered by the team in the 1st T20I of the series. A lot will depend on Rohit Sharma, who contributed handsomely in the first game. Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant will also be in the spotlight due to the rising competition between them for the slot of wicketkeeper batter in the Indian T20I setup.
