    The actual date and timetable for the 2022 IPL auction have been revealed. It will take place in Bangalore on February 12 and 13 in 2022. Other dates were circulating on social media, but they have now been verified.

    The auction will be carried live on the Star Sports channel beginning at 11 a.m. on both days. The administration has shifted from Vivo to Tata, and the league will be known as the Tata IPL beginning with the 2022 edition.

    Season 15 now features ten teams, thanks to the addition of two new clubs. It is projected that up to 74 matches would be contested. The auction includes several well-known overseas batters.

    A few of them have also proven to be skipper material in the IPL. With so many organizations looking for a new captain, the value of a handful of those players may grow as the super auction approaches.

    IPL Auction: 590 Cricketers

    The BCCI has completed the list of 590 cricketers for the IPL 2022 super auction. There are 370 National players and 270 international players among them. International players come from a variety of nations, including Australia, Afghanistan, Dhaka, England, Africa, and Sri Lanka, among others. So far, the ten franchises have selected a total of 33 players for their rosters.

    Some franchises are searching for skippers, while others are seeking specialists in other aspects of the game. According to reports, the IPL Auction 2022 will be the final mega bid. Captains have also been appointed for the two new clubs.

    Hardik Pandya will head the Ahmedabad club, while KL Rahul will head the Lucknow franchise. Skippers have also been appointed for the Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals (DC), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Sunrisers Hyderabad. KKR, RCB, and PBKS are among the teams looking for new captains.

    Expensive reserve price

    The maximum reserve bid is ₹ 2 crore, and as numerous as 48 cricketers have opted to position themselves in this range.

    Moreover, there are 20 cricketers on the bidding list with a reserve cost of Rs 1.5 crore, and 34 players with a reserve cost of Rs 1 crore.

    For the forthcoming IPL auction, top Indian cricketers such as top opener Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer, as well as foreign talents such as Pat Cummins and Kagiso Rabada, have been bookended in the Rs 2 crore high list price group.

    Ashvin, Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Mohammad Shami have also enrolled with a baseline value of INR 2 crore.

    While Iyer and Dhawan are the big draws, the other ten teams are anticipated to engage in a price war for young players.

    IPL Auction 2022: Date, time, and new teams

    As two new teams are added in IPL Auction 2022 list. It is planning a big auction to build up 10 teams, with two new clubs to spotlight this season.

    IPL administration has already given all teams till November 30th, 2021, to announce their squad of maintained and dismissed players. The two new clubs Ahmedabad and Lucknow, on the other extreme, will immediately join the IPL 2022 by buying their team squad in the next bidding day.

    According to the official release on December 23, 2021. The BCCI has chosen to hold the IPL 2022 Super auction on Feb 12th and 13th 2022. Whereas, All ten clubs must reveal their complete list of cricketers who are all ready to play games in IPL 2022. Moreover, It is also stated that the major auction will be placed in Bangalore.
