Mohammed Kaif is showering massive praise on Hardik Pandya for his outstanding captaincy skills in the second T20I against New Zealand in Lucknow. Kaif hails Pandya as a brave captain, citing his bold decision-making as the reason behind India’s successful 6-wicket victory.
Pandya, who remained unbeaten and formed a match-winning partnership with the Player of the Match, Suryakumar Yadav, made some crucial calls for the team. He dropped Umran Malik, recognizing that the wicket would be better suited to spinners. Pandya’s intuition paid off as he brought in Yuzvendra Chahal in the powerplay overs, who bowled a maiden and claimed the wicket of the dangerous Finn Allen.
In the death overs, Pandya made another smart move by introducing Arshdeep Singh, who took two wickets and contributed to the team’s win. Kaif says, “Hardik Pandya is a special captain who takes tough calls for the team… Hardik’s partnership with Suryakumar led the team to victory.”
